My name is Rob Ashdown and I am a Graphic designer with strong web building skills. I have 2 years experience and currently looking to join a creative team where I can use my creative skills to become a vital part of a great team.

I studied at The Kent Institute of Art and Design where i achieved a N.D and H.N.D in graphic design and illustration. I Then left college with these skills and pursued a career in design. I started by working for 6 months in part of a small design team in Dartford called Bell Sytems. Here I gained valuable experience in using HTML and CSS and developed an intrest for web design.

After this I applied for a junior design role at Wickedweb where I have been part of a growing design and build agency. As my skills developed, I became more envolved with projects being asked to design sites and follow them through to web build.
In my role I would do small or large web amends aswell as managing new site builds. Working alongside the head creatives I helped to design and build many sites including THORPE PARK, THE WINE SHOW, LONDON FASHION WEEKEND and many more.

As my HTML and CSS skills grew I was asked to design and build emails for NSPCC, as well as design story boards for their flash banners. Later in my time here my knowledge of SEO was heightened as Wickedweb looked to make all their sites more accessible.

During my 18 months at Wickedweb I made alot of friends and became a key person of their team and I am still in touch with the whole team.

I am hard working with a creative mind and enjoy taking on new challenges my skills in HTML and CSS are strong as well as being highly capable in PHOTOSHOP and ILLUSTRATOR.

In my spare time I enjoy following many sports including my beloved Arsenal FC and I enjoy regular trips to see them play. I also love music and draw alot of my creative ideas from the music I listen to. I go to as many live gigs as I can with friends as well as socialising at the weekends!
Me and my family are very close and I enjoy seeing all of them on a reguar basis.
